  • This is a story I cannot wait to share with my eighth-grade honors environmental science class, with a focus on sustainability and water. Sukhtara’s beautiful friendship with the river goddess makes this subject feel alive and personal. It shows that caring for the environment isn’t just about facts and numbers—it’s about love, compassion, connection, and believing in the power of our voice.

  • What a positive story of how a boy gives the most he can from his heart. His generosity and kindness towards others are characteristics we all need in our lives, for his gift is multiplied throughout the land for all to receive. I love reading stories like this to my daughter, and I hope it is passed down through our generations.
